8 Springs in 8 Miles

We will end at Santa Fe River Park and get picked up by a shuttle which you must arrange through the website. You can also rent boats there through the website or by calling.
This is one of the most beautiful paddles I have been on and we will see several crystal blue springs clear enough to swin. I never knew there were parts of the Santa Fe this blue. We will be going downstream the entire trip. It is a 4-5 hour paddle depending on how much time we spend at each Spring.
IMPORTANT: You MUST arrange on the website or by phone for your pick-up time at the other end. Select the 8 Springs 8 Mile trip and select the 10:00 or 10:30 launch time so they can gage our return time.
Depending on water level, there are class 1 and 2 rapids.

RiversEdge and Friendship Fountain Walk

the weird looking white swings (see the photo attached).
Length of Walk: 3 miles
Let’s explore the new RiversEdge park in detail, including an amazing
boardwalk set above a natural landscape. We’ll walk towards the Gym at
RiversEdge and take a tour of the new boardwalk. Then, we’ll turn
around and head on the river walk to the Friendship Fountain, turn
around at the Friendship Fountain, go past the Friendship Fountain
Playground, and then head back along the river walk to Central Park at
RiversEdge. This walk is very flat, sunny, and with no hills.
You might want to bring the following for this walk: water, hat,
sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and a light jacket.After the walk, we’ll go to V Pizza and Sidecar if there’s enough interest.

Wonderwood Bridge Walk
BBQ Barn, 14025 mount pleasant road, Jacksonville, FL, USWonderwood Bridge Walk: We will meet at 6:45pm at BBQ Barn at 14025 Mt. Pleasant Road, right before the Wonderwood Bridge. If you need more time to deal with traffic, please use MeetUp App or contact me and we can have a second group start around 7:15 pm or so. We will start at BBQ Barn and walk over the Wonderwood Bridge toward Hanna Park, go about 2 to 2.5 miles and turn back for a total of 4 to 5 miles . Afterwards we will grab a bite to eat at the BBQ Barn. Please dress accordingly for weather, as it is a bit breezy on top of bridge. If you have a flashlight, please bring it or let me know and I'll bring a few extra flashlights there's a small stretch of a quarter mile where you'll need some light.
