Kings Landing is a private operator located about 1/2 mile downstream from Rock Springs State Park. You can paddle up to the park if you like. The run continues 8.5 miles to Wikiva Island. Where we can shuttle our cars or pay for the shuttle bus back to Kings Landing for $30.00.

Sidetrackers Outdoor and Active Singles Club Monthly Meeting new location
Chuy's, 4914 Town Center Pkwy,, Jacksonville, FL, USTHE SIDETRACKERS MONTHLY MEETING is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m., excluding holidays. The Monthly Meeting has a new location ,Chuy's restaurant at the TownCenter 4914 Town Center pkwy Jacksonville fl 32246 the meeting will consist of trip reports and discussion of recently-completed activities and events, and review and discussion of upcoming activities and events and trips including Fall trip and lodging . If you rsvp and decide not to go please go to the app and unrsvp and if you decide at the last minute to go rsvp so we can decide to start on time or wait for you .The restaurant has a separate room to talk because its hard to discuss anything with a crowded restaurant. We try to schedule guest speakers on an occasional/as-available basis. Meetup.com members should receive an automatic reminder message in their email before the meeting.
Four times per year (March, June, September, December), the club holds a planning meeting. This is where the next three months of activities are tentatively discussed and put on a calendar and where YOU come in. The planning meeting is open to EVERYONE and you are encouraged to come and participate. Come out and express your desire for a specific event or even better yet – VOLUNTEER to lead an event you have a passion for. Once you decide to lead an event, please message the Sidetrackers editor, KI (message her on this app) with a basic outline of your description of the activity. If this is an activity that has been done previously, feel free to use the write up from that event. Several items to include in your write up are:
- Day, time, and duration of activity
- Location to meet
- Description of the activity with any supporting information
- Your name and number (text or voice) so that attendees may
contact you for questions if needed - Do you want to limit the number of attendees – yes (how many)
or no?
