In this presentation the speaker  will provide an overview of  crowdfunding options and discuss how crowdfunding differs from traditional sources of capital.  There will be a discussion on how to determine what crowdfunding option makes sense for particular startup organizations, including yours.

The speaker will then compare the various investment fundraising strategies, including direct public offerings (DPO's) and the new Title III exempt crowdfunding. Finally, the speaker will describe the process of investment crowdfunding via direct public offering.

(Often referred to as "investment crowdfunding",   DPOs ( direct public offerings) are increasingly becoming a popular option for bypassing the traditional route of raising capital for startups and providing a way to engage individual investors directly in the success of community enterprises.

The speaker will discuss what a DPO is, what types of companies use this tool, and successful examples of its implementation.)
