Out to Eat Gala - Project Outlet

Details
Every day, an increasing number of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth are coming out, challenging homophobia, and improving their communities. Since 1997, the Outlet Program has been a critical source of support and empowerment for these courageous young people by offering professional, caring support services, leadership training, community education and advocacy opportunities in English and Spanish. Outlet serves hundreds of youth and trains thousands of youth-serving professionals each year. As the only local resource for LGBTQQ youth, Outlet positively impacts the lives of teens in our community by reducing isolation, increasing self-esteem, and developing important skills for tomorrow’s adults and leaders.
WHEN: 6:00pm-10:00pm
We are going to be volunteering at Out to Eat, Project Outlet's annual fundraising event. We will be helping at the silent auction, breaking down the silent auction, spotters for the live auction, and with check-out. Food will be available for volunteers. For those who can stay a little longer and help, Project Outlet would greatly appreciate our assistance in cleaning up the museum after the event. Please let me know when you RSVP if you can help with this. For more info on the event: http://www.outtoeat.org/
DRESS CODE: Dark pants or skirt, light colored and solid button down shirt or polo, dress shoes (no flip flops, sneakers, jeans, or t-shirts)
Please answer both questions when you RSVP.
This should be a fun event. See you there!
