24 hour service weekend - Shift 5 - Help Kara

Friends, It's time for our annual 24 hour service weekend. This year, it will be on Sept 8-Th and 9-Th and we will also commemorate the national service day (9/11) through these events. This is shift 5. It runs from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. Kara needs volunteers to help with some of their office projects. Kara is a non-profit organization that provides compassionate support to people of all ages on their journey through grief so that they can move toward renewed hope and meaning. We will be helping them with the following projects. 1) The first project is cleaning out the Kara supply closet. That closet appears to look small but it sure does hold a lot of stuff. We could use five to six volunteers to pull everything out of that closet and than find a way to organize it better. 2) The second project involes organizing Kara's filing cabinet and some of their paperwork so they could find things. 3) If time permits, we will also make some cards for kids in grief. But no guarantees we will get to this project. Feel free to contact Aravind for any questions. [masked] or [masked] Happy Volunteering, SVV leadership team

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
