Very steep hike several short cliff bands with some easy scrambling.

Distance: 12kms

Elevation:900meters

Note: We will be hiking at a Slow and Not so Steady pace taking lots of short breathers if you’re in a rush to get to the top this is not a hike for you. At the same time this is not a hike for beginners.

From the 4-way stop go west which will take you through town and onto Township Road #194a which will then turn into Highway 546. The trail head is approximately 34 kilometers from Turner Valley. Park in the Blue Rock/Junction Creek parking lot close to the Sheep river this is the very end of the road.

We will hike up the Sheep River trail for 15 minutes take a right and bushwhack our way up to the ridge. From there we will hike along a open ridge with views of Mount Gibraltar ,Mount Shangri-La, Blue Rock Mountain and and sweeping views of the Sheep River Valley.

Recommended carpool contribution is $15/passenger paid to your driver.

You must sign it before you will be allowed to go on this hike so please make sure you read it before you come to the trailhead.

Your Host is a volunteer and not a trained guide. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road, weather, and trail conditions for the trip; and, you are responsible for your safety and well-being. You are fully prepared with proper gear, food and water, personal First-aid and you're physically fit to do this hike with the group.
