Chicano Batman Album Release Party @ La Cita

Chicano Batman's sophomore effort "Cycles of Existential Rhyme" will debut this Saturday night at La Cita. Doors open at 9, early arrival encouraged. Inspired by 70's/80's Mexican music acts such as Los Caminantes/Yonics/Los Angeles Negros, infused with Soul sounds from the likes of Brenton Wood and other Latin sounds. If you grew up Mexican in the 80's you'll immediately recognize the influence your parents' jams had on Chicano Batman. If you didn't come up in a Mexican household, you'll at least readily understand the band's name.
