This May SMUG presents it's first online or in person training course. jQuery Mobile Project Based 4 Week Training Class.

Whether you are a web or mobile developer, it's no doubt that you will find the training valuable. This is a hands on, hard core coding class. This is for the serious developer who wishes to add jQuery mobile to his\her skill arsenal. Participates will build a real world mobile web application using jQuery Mobile, which will utilize commonly used functionality.

Now jQuery Mobile focuses jQuery's strengths on simplifying web design optimized for mobile devices. This training series teaches how to use jQuery mobile to take advantage of mobile interfaces and to design pages that work well on a broad variety of devices.

Troy is a Orange County based mobile and mobile Web Application Developer with experience in both front-end and back-end development. Particularly skilled at fast and efficient front-end development using JavaScript and JavaScript libraries like JQuery, JQuery Mobile, Underscore, and Backbone. Troy is highly skilled in mobile development on all three major smart phone platforms: Apple, Android, and Windows Phone 7. Specialties C#, Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, ASP.NET MVC. Troy is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Kelley Blue Book.

Meeting is in building 100, room 1 E13
Enter the Honda campus on the west side off of Van ness street.
Turning east on Central street will take you on to the campus.
Turn right at the first street once on the campus.
Building 100 is the large building on the south side of the campus with HONDA on it in large red letters.
