AZT Jamboree Shuttle Ride with the Scottsdale Mountain Bikers

The Scottsdale MTB Club https://www.meetup.com/mtbike/ (https://www.meetup.com/mtbike/)is coming down to Tucson to ride with us.

We have rides planned for Saturday and Sunday, with the option of camping on Saturday night. I have reserved the El Bosquecito Group Campground at Colossal Cave Park for Saturday night.

Saturday we will meet at the AZ Trail Pistol Hill Trailhead at 1000am to arrange shuttles and drive up to the Lakes Rd trailhead. We'll plan to be at the Lakes (Twin Tanks) Trailhead about 1040 if you'd like to meet along the way. This is the route of the AZT Jamboree (short course). The ride is in a mostly downhill direction, but includes some short, steep climbs. Ride is about 23 miles, probably 3-4 hours with a group, stopping to regroup. Social pace, but faster riders can head out on their own.

We can then go to the campground to eat (bring some food to cook), hang out, or camp out.

Sunday's ride will be Kentucky Camp (posted separately)
