Come to Sedona on Saturday May 11 and we'll ride the epic red rock country on the west side trail system. This route has amazing views and plenty of challenging terrain. You should be a solid intermediate or advanced rider for this adventure.
The route will be about 15 miles with 1500 ft of climbing. The tough terrain makes this a full day of riding in Sedona!
From the Cultural Park trailhead we'll ride Girdner and Chuckwagon north to the epic Mescal trail. After enjoying the sweeping cliffside views we'll head down Canyon of Fools and finish on Axis.
This area has some of the best terrain and vistas anywhere in Sedona. Here is the route:

Timing

There are picnic tables and some shade at the end so bring a chair and some food/drink and we'll hang for awhile after the ride.
Helmets are required of course. Bring 2-3 liters of water, spare tubes and tools plus energy snacks. Always smart to have a trail mapping app like Trailforks in case you get separated from the group.
