Steel City Ukuleles promotes community, entertainment, performance and education among ukulele enthusiasts in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. All players are welcome, from beginners to professionals.

Welcome to SCU North’s Meetup Site.
Meet-up jams are held in Room 104 at the St. Athanasius church Community Center located at 7 Chalfont Avenue, 15229. The center is easy to access from both Route 19 and Route I- 279. The room is also comfortably spacious with plentiful free parking.Plan to arrive at 6:30pm to set up. We'll start playing at 6:45 and end by 8:30pm. This room is already set up with tables and chairs.
Plan to bring your music, a ukulele and the expectation to have a good time and we always seem to have a good time 😊. $3.00 per person.

Join us at Lolev Beer in Lawrencville! A cozy venue with easy parking. Grab a beverage in the taproom and eats at the food stand just outside!This will be a rehearsal for SCU’s jam for Make Music Day on June 21 at Ross Community Center. ALL LEVELS, ALL AGES, in SCU are asked to participate in this fun performance! Try to come to one of the rehearsals if you are newer to the group, but if you have been with us for a while, at least look over the songs before the performance.

We play from 7 to 8:30 pm, with the playlist below. No experience required! All levels are welcome, from beginners to professionals. If you don't know the chords... just sing louder. If you don’t have the music, someone will share their music with you. Non-musicians welcome to sing along!WHAT YOU NEED:
Uke, a tuner, a music stand, music. $3 voluntary donation.

Once again, Steel City Ukuleles will be participating in Make Music Day.Brighton Music Center, Ross Community Center and the Farina Foundation are sponsoring the event, The Farina Foundation will be advertising their instrument donation drive that day.
You can donate any and all instruments on MMD. BRIGHTON music center will Refurbish and donate all to kids in need through the Farinafoundation.org
