Our membership fee is one of the best bargains around!! Welcome back to all of our SCU members who have renewed their memberships and hoping to encourage our non-members to join our ranks. We are excited to have over 2,100 cyclists in our Meetup Group but we would be even more excited to have all of you become dues paying SCU members. Welcome to Suburban Cyclists Unlimited! We are a non-profit community of recreational cyclists riding at various paces as we tour the roads and trails of our surrounding counties in Southeastern Pa, predominantly in Montgomery and Bucks. Weekday and weekend rides are available as well as social and bike events throughout the year.

Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 30 miles. Meet at Mondauk Park. The ride leaves at 8:30 am. Pretty meander in Montgomery County, from Mondauk Common Park, westbound to Whitpain, West Point, and North Wales. Cycle through the neighborhood in West Point in which streets are named after astronauts & space missions. Coffee/ice coffee/snack break at the Everything Bagel Cafe in North Wales at Mile 17. Return via Gwynedd and Maple Glen. Rolling terrain with total elevation of 1471 ft, averaging 48 ft/mile. The on-line route map is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56486769. Delightful, Delicious D/D+/C- Summer Evening Flourtown
GIANT in Flourtown, 1874 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, pa, US##### Delightful, Delicious Wednesday Summer Evening Rides, D/C+/C-
Level C- through D: 9-12mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Flourtown Shopping Center. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Most summer Wednesday evenings, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work ride to pedal away stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Peaceful roads Eastern Mont Co, w/brief rest stop. Please bring lights. Preregistration saves you writing time at the start. Meet in parking lot of Flourtown Shop Ctr Bethlehem Pike (McDonald's in front, facing the Pike). In September, as evening daylight shortens, this ride will meet earlier (5:45, then, 5:30). Helmets are required on all club rides. Please also bring two bottles for water/Gatorade, as well as front & rear bike lights. RESTROOMS are available inside GIANT MARKET. Occasionally throughout the summer, we will finish with post-ride refreshments. PUBLIC TRANSIT access to Flourtown: the 94 Bus runs along Bethlehem Pike. Nearby train stations include Fort Washington, Glenside, Wyndmoor, and Chestnut Hill East & West. Cue sheets will be available.
