What we’re about
The Swiss Ski Club of New York is one of the oldest ski clubs in New York, founded in 1939 (http://www.swissskiclub.org) We are a large, active, and fun-loving international group centered in the New York metropolitan area. We are an all-season, year-round club and host many outdoor and indoor activities. In the winter, we organize many trips from New York City and New Jersey to visit our lodge in Waitsfield, VT. Our home mountains are Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski. When we aren't skiiing, we organize hiking, biking, kayaking, either in Vermont at our lodge or NJ/NY area.

To ensure your stay at the lodge, it is strongly advised that you book and pay for your planned upcoming stays ASAP, especially for holiday weekends as these dates are expected to book early.
As always, stays at the lodge are subject to the current Rates and Procedures as posted on the SSCNY website. Non-member stays are contingent on a member also staying at the lodge on the same dates. Members may be asked to act as Hut Master/Host depending on non-member booked stays. All people staying at the lodge are required to follow VT guidance in effect during the dates of their stay at the lodge.
If you feel sick, stay home. Any person who becomes sick while at the Lodge must immediately leave/checkout of the Lodge.

For you intrepid Manhattanites: trains run regularly from Penn to Convent Station, NJ on the Morris & Essex line -- ride is approx. 58 min. -- Convent Station stop is right at the Madison Hotel/Red Dog Tavern. How convenient is that!
Trains leave Penn Station for Convent Station at 4:46, 5:14, 5:34, 5:52, 6:22.
Trains run regularly back to NYC later in the evening.
