Topic:
Big Data is now a really hot topic. We hear about it everywhere. It's not surprising considering the explosion of the amount of data produced every year, fueled lately by the mobile devices and the social networks. Yet, we hear very few real-world experiences of companies solving problems with Big Data. This presentation will be about how we leverage Big Data at Hopper to build a search engine for travel. You'll hear about the many hurdles we've been going through and how we solved them.
