February Meetup: Winter NAMM 2015 Recap @ Walnut Room in Denver

Part two in Tuesday's format will feature two member performances. Each performer will play up to 10 minutes at full volume on the big PA at the Walnut room, then back it down to ambient volume so we can all mingle and talk during part 2.

WINTER NAMM RECAP
Multiple members, myself included, will be attending the Winter 2015 NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show in Anaheim, CA. NAMM is the world’s largest trade-only event for the music products industry. The blog Synthtopia says "We just got word from the NAMM Show organizers that synth manufacturers have nearly doubled their show floor square footage since last year, making this one of the show’s fastest-growing segments." so this should prove to be a great year for synths!
As with past NAMM recaps, we'll stick with a panel discussion format so you can get the scoop on what's new and hot this year including photos and stories from the event.

NEW VENUE
This will be our first event at a new venue for the monthly meetups - the wonderful Walnut room. They have great pizza, beer and more some come hungry and thirsty. Parking is free both in their lot and on the street.

We're going to try a new little feature at our next meetup: a book / Vinyl / CD / DVD / BluRay swap table. Bring in an item or two that you would like to trade or give away and place it on the swap table. If you see something you like on the table, take it home for free.
