Technical talk

Our first Python meet is a talk by Jonathan Hartley on "OpenGL from Python". Come and meet some fellow Pythonistas and have some geeky (or not so geeky, up to you) chat about Python or related subjects and learn something new!

I suspect we'll move to a bar after and introduce ourselves to each other.

Other ideas for future meets:

• Python3000 - are you using it? Commercially? Comparisons/upgrade/integration issues? * Django - or some aspect of, eg. scaling up, how to overcome its less friendly oddities, or making use of good plugins, using it with alternate (eg. nosql) type db's * - introduce it to other python programmers! * Writing your own extensions in C/C++(maybe or something else even) for speed * IronPython * Jython * Applications and services that work well with python. Google App Engine?
