STL Ecovillage Network Monthly Meeting

For our next Ecovillage Network meeting we'll start off with a presentation from a member who has visited an ecovillage recently (and if you'd like to present at any upcoming meetings, let us know!). Then we'll focus on ways to bring some of the benefits of ecovillages into our lives now -- before we necessarily have an ecovillage to call home. Using the World Cafe model for group conversations ( http://www.theworldcafe.com/method.html ) we will focus on the topics you identified at our last meeting: Urban Gardening, Shared Parenting, Asset Mapping, New Urbanism, Alternative Building Techniques, Social & Economic Sustainability, and Extended Family/Support Networks. You may find yourself "building community" in many different ways. We'll also discuss what you'd like to see on our upcoming North St. Louis tour, as well as other neighborhood tours.
