Our Summer School Gardeners Meet-Up, A Midsummer Night's Drink, will be a garden party celebration to thank all of the garden leaders, educators, and adults who support youth gardening in the region.
We hope to use this time to collect feedback from attendees to help guide our school and youth garden programs going forward. Dress for a casual evening in the garden with cocktails, mocktails, appetizers, garden games, and garden giveaways. You are welcome to bring your own potluck item if you wish. Saving your own seeds is a great way to save money, preserve genetic diversity, adapt a crop to your local environment, and even develop your own varieties. Dean Gunderson, Chief Programs Officer here at Seed St. Louis, will cover the easiest crops to save seeds, the basics of saving seeds, and the basics of selecting your own varieties. Registration required.

- Fall Seedling SaleNeeds location
Our Fall Seedling Sale will have variety trial winners and old favorites! Fall seedlings are sold as 4-packs for $3.50 each. A planting guide for all of the plants being sold will be available for you to take home. We will also have seed packets, including cover crops, and Seed St. Louis Gettin' Dirty t-shirts.

Time: 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.We will accept cash, credit, Apple Pay and Google Pay for payment. The sale will run from 9:00 to 11:00 am and will be located outside at our Carriage House building at 3815 Bell Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108. Free street parking is available all along Bell.

- Using the Garden to TeachBell Garden, Saint Louis, MO
Whether using the garden as a living laboratory, an outdoor workshop, or a place to study food systems and nutrition, the garden is the ultimate teaching tool to facilitate hands-on, integrated learning! This class will model how you can effortlessly integrate the garden into your curriculum, no matter the subject. Attendees will leave with ideas for connecting the curriculum to the garden. In addition, a variety of outdoor classroom management tips and tricks will be shared so that you can bring your students outside with confidence.
