Silicon Valley Storytellers: Arbor Day & Tall Tale Champ Declan Shalvey

Details
Theme: Arbor Day
What would some of our favorite stories be like without trees? Where would Robin Hood's Merry Men hide? What would we use for lighting campfires for ghost stories? And what would whomp the Weasley's' car in the Harry Potter series?
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: Declan Shalvey, Division B's Tall Tale Champion will tell his winning tale, "My Streak of Good Luck". Don't miss your chance to see it in person!
Storytelling is an important part of everyday communication and a great skill to develop for your family, career, and entertainment. A skilled storyteller can help others understand the world around them, or take them a voyage through fantasy, escaping the daily grind.
The Silicon Valley Storytellers is an advanced club for Toastmasters, where members focus on story creation and delivery. Our members bring prepared speeches, or engage in story development exercises. It’s fun, lively, and entertaining!
