My name is Fran Rew. I'm the TopicTalkWalks.com co-founder.

Ever since I was a child, when I was sitting indoors, looking out the windows in my schools, I had the restless passionate desire to make any topic a part of an outdoor walking group conversation. This feeling intensified and became iresistable with age.

I was waiting for someone else to create TTW. When waiting didn't make TTW happen, I decided to do what I could to help make a TTW-style walking group conversation a choice for anyone else who was waiting for this choice. Because of the loving support of my husband, TTW co-founder Richard Rew, TTW has been given a wonderful opportunity to grow.

After coordinating the first TTW walk with the inspirational co-creators of TTW on January 30, 2008, I made a commitment to volunteer my full-time effort in 2008 to beginning the design and construction of the Topic-Talk Walks domain and Meetup.com web site tools.

In the first year of TTW, many Topic-Talk walkers enjoyed the exhilaration of an outdoor urban park walking group conversation. You can view a photo summary of TTW’s 29 walks in 2008 by clicking on the “walks” tab on the top of each page of the TTW domain web site at TopicTalkWalks.com.

TTW's Goal: “Let’s walk about it!” To collaboratively create an online schedule of friendly outdoor urban park walking group conversations.
