About us
The Libertarian Party constitute the leading alternative to the Ds and Rs in North Carolina, striving to defend all your rights, all the time and to keep government out of your pocketbook and out of your bedroom.
The Triangle Libertarians meetup group is jointly sponsored by three county affiliate parties: the Durham County Libertarian Party, the Orange County Libertarian Party—both of whom meet monthly—and the Wake County Libertarian Party, who meet weekly. Most meetups are primarily social, but often there is a featured speaker or event; check the listings for details. Everyone is welcome to attend, encouraged to ask questions, learn…and teach!

WakeLP Meetup
Clouds Brewing, 505 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC, USPlease join us for an evening of stimulating discussion of current political events from a libertarian perspective. (And, most likely, many other topics.) Check out the biggest affiliate of the coolest and—for the last 30 years—fastest-growing political party in North Carolina!
Libertarians aspire to protect all of your rights, all of the time, which we aim to accomplish in accordance with our two rules:
- Don’t hit folks
- Don’t steal their stuff
Have questions about how we might go about that? Come chat with us at Clouds on W Jones Street, one block east of Glenwood. We are about #PeopleNotPolitics, so ALL are welcome, plus there’s top-notch food & beer!
PARKING
Clouds provides three hours of gratis parking in the Powerhouse Square Parking Deck behind the restaurant. Park and DO NOT PAY at the garage, but come in to the restaurant and scan the QR code displayed at the front desk and follow the directions. (You will need to enter your license plate number and you MUST do this within 15 minutes of parking to avoid being charged.) There are also several diagonal spaces on your right just before you enter the Parking Deck reserved for Clouds customers; if you snag one of those, you don’t need to bother with the QR code.2 attendees
