About us
The Libertarian Party constitute the leading alternative to the Ds and Rs in North Carolina, striving to defend all your rights, all the time and to keep government out of your pocketbook and out of your bedroom.
The Triangle Libertarians meetup group is jointly sponsored by three county affiliate parties: the Durham County Libertarian Party, the Orange County Libertarian Party—both of whom meet monthly—and the Wake County Libertarian Party, who meet weekly. Most meetups are primarily social, but often there is a featured speaker or event; check the listings for details. Everyone is welcome to attend, encouraged to ask questions, learn…and teach!

WakeLP Meetup—World Cup Watch Party
Hibernian Pub - North Raleigh, 8021 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh, NC, USOur unofficial HQ at the historic Power House Building in Downtown Raleigh is closed for renovations, so we are holding our July weekly meetups in North Raleigh, at Hibernian Pub. Tonite is a USA Men’s Team World Cup game, so please plan to arrive early—as close to 6pm as you can—to help us stake out a table.
IMPORTANT NOTE: there are two Hibernians in Raleigh. We are meeting at the northern one, NOT the one on Glenwood South. Also, due to a software bug, if you RSVP you may get an auto-generated confirmation from Meetup.com that erroneously states we are still meeting at Tobacco Road on West Jones Street (which in point of fact no longer exists).
The game doesn’t start until 8 o’clock, so there will be time for an evening of stimulating discussion of current political events from a libertarian perspective. (And, most likely, many other topics.) Check out the biggest affiliate of the coolest and—for the last 34 years—fastest-growing political party in North Carolina!
Libertarians aspire to protect all of your rights, all of the time, and keep government out of your bedroom and your wallet. Have questions about how we might go about that? Come chat with us. We are about #PeopleNotPolitics—focusing on making life in Wake County better, not partisan sniping—and ALL are welcome!
