For our October restaurant visit, we'll be on the east side to try the new food trailer called Unity Vegan Kitchen. They are still in the soft launch phase, but they have a variety of dishes "made with locally sourced ingredients with organic ingredients when possible." They also have a few gluten free options. They first appeared at Texas VegFest this past April before they got their actual location, and created a lot of buzz at the event with their dishes, not the least of which is their vegan lasagna. They also have muffaletta sandwiches, tostadas, and vegan crab cakes!
There should be enough tables, but it might be a good idea to bring a folding chair if you have one. You do not have to be a VNA member; all our events are free for anyone to attend. Children and families are welcome as well.
