Our Veterans in Business meeting continues to grow more and more with each gathering—thank you to everyone who showed up and made it impactful!
I’m excited to announce our next meeting will be on third Thursday, again from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm in Fort Worth.
This group is for veterans who want to connect, share their business, support one another, and build community—all over a good meal (lunch available for purchase).

The Marine Corps League Detachment 1069 will be hosting a Dual Chili Competition at Jellystone Park from February 7th to February 8th, running daily from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The event will feature live music and a full bar.

We’ll have both a CASI-sanctioned chili competition and a Homestyle division:

• CASI Competition: Teams will compete for points and trophies. Entry fee is $35 per team.
• Homestyle Competition: Teams will compete for cash prizes, and one lucky team will take home a custom-painted Longhorn skull as the People’s Choice Award. Entry fee is $50 per team.

This event will also serve as a fundraiser supporting our Detachment’s 2026 Calendar.
