14th Annual Marine Corps League Corporal Stevenson Charity Golf Tournament
Southern Oaks Golf Course, 13765 Southern Oaks Dr, Burleson, TX, USJoin the MCL Longhorn Detachment as we host our 14th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting Cook Children's Medical Center and Wheelchairs 4 Kids.
Join us as the Marine Corps League Detachment 1069 hosts our 14th Annual Golf Tournament. As we continue to serve our community, we are looking forward to your support as the tournament has become one of the best events in Burleson. This year our partners at Harvest House, Cook Children’s, Wheelchairs 4 Kids, and our local Toys 4 Tots program are excited to host over 200 players and volunteers at Southern Oaks Golf and Tennis Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will continue to support Wheelchairs 4 Kids and our new beneficiary, Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. Last year we were able to raise over $20,000.00 through your kindness! Our Goal this year is to reach $50,000.00 through sponsorship, players and multiple on course competitions.

Monthly Dallas Food Distribution with Soldier's Angels
Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5004 Bonnie View Road,, Dallas, TX, US2nd Friday of every month, Soldier's Angels has a veteran specific food distribution location in South Dallas. Several VIB members go there each month already, so we wanted to get this on the calendar for those needing volunteer hours (children / families welcome) or just for those who would like to get out and take part.
Soldier's Angels receives grants based on participation, so you do need to register with them and their website to take part, we're just pushing this out for publicity reasons. Here's the link to register directly on their platform. Takes less than 60 seconds.

This is a rewarding event and one we enjoy specifically since it only serves veterans, active duty military and their respective families. Great way to get involved and help serve the local community.
