March Wellington.js

Please note Venue change, and Xero's new address!

Matthew Hartley will be giving us an overview of some different client-side templating libraries.

Dominic Tarr will be talking about his git-written-in-JS project snob , and "the applications of changeset based persistance to both horizontal replication/scaling and collaborative applications".

Unfortunately there won't be refreshments this time, but we'll be heading to a nearby pub after the talks, for food, drink and more js talk...

I've just discovered a very similar project to snob, https://github.com/codeparty/racer
it's a different approach, and further along. currently investigating...

Someone (sorry didn't catch name) mentioned 'Pure' a JS template method which doesn't involve embedded tags in the HTML. I thought others might be interested to take a look : http://beebole.com/pure/ .

It looks good although I do recall using a similar templating library in Python and there is a tendency for it all to get a bit 'magical' when things get complex - still well worth a look.
