Friday 26th March marks the return of Fiesta Sun Bailante, which will showcase the irresistible Salsa and Cumbia rhythms of the hottest Latin band in the UK, Conjunto Sabroso, live in concert at the Islington Metal Works.

Fronted by charismatic Colombian singer Luz Elena Caicedo, and directed by renowned Venezuelan multi-percussionist Wilmer Sifontes, the 7-piece band brings together some of the most outstanding musicians in the Latin circuit to produce its own distinctive and original sound.

Conjunto Sabroso has already set alight some of the finest stages including the Royal Festival Hall, Carnival del Pueblo, The Bath International Festival and The Beijing International. The band has also supported celebrated Salsa singers such as Henry Fiol and Adalberto Santiago (Fania).

Patrons of the evening will be treated to the tuneful mixing the global sounds legend DJ Russ Jones. Russ the ?Hackney Globetrotter? is the co-founder of the acclaimed Music of the World night ?Future World Funk? at the Notting Hill Arts Club. He has also launched ?Arriba la Cumbia? the specialist Cumbia night of London where he spins hot Colombian shakedowns.

He will be supported SUN BAILANTE resident DJs Jerome and Shakit who will play the hottest Salsa, Cumbia, Vallenato-pop, Merengue, Champeta, Reggaeton, Ragga, and Latin House.

Don?t miss the Cumbia/Salsa lessons starting at 9pm where you will learn your first moves before dancing to funky Latin and tropical tunes!

Located just behind Angel tube station, Islington Metal Works is the only London venue that can boast having a tube wagon as its main bar.
