About our Speaker:
Bill Guschwan was a founding team-member on Apple's QuickTime and Newton teams. He played a critical technical role in founding the U.S. Sony PlayStation 1. Leveraging his Apple experiences about optimizing video games, he guided Sony’s decision to open source the hardware, software, and engineers.
He then went on to cofound the startup company Tap.Me which was a member of first Chicago TechStars cohort. He currently researches serious game design and worked with NSF iCorps where he used the Customer Development method for a serious game app called WalkinBrain. His professional and personal experiences drive his current work as Stigma’s CTO which was part of an Amazon incubator.
