"DOG DAYS at the GARDENS" & OCTOBER PACK WALK

"Dog Days at the Gardens" On Sat. & Sun. October 25 th & 26th 2014, Old Westbury Gardens will be having their semi-annual "Dog Days at the Gardens" event from 10 am - 5 pm each day. This event is open to the public and LI-DOG will be there (Sunday only) along with many other canine organizations. So bring your leashed dog for an invigorating walk and healthy exercise in designated garden areas.

OCTOBER PACK WALK - In conjunction with Dog Days and as an option, we will be holding our monthly pack walk on Sunday 26th @ 11am - I ask you to arrive by 10:30am so we may get the waivers signed and begin on time at 11am. Please RSVP here if you wish to participate in the October 2014 Pack Walk. The walk will take approximately 1 hour as we stroll the beautiful grounds with our canine companions. Please arrive early to sign-in as this could be a large turnout. This is a wonderful opportunity to walk our dogs, on leash, in a place that is usually off limits to dogs. This is also a great way to meet & socialize with other dog owners, get some exercise and have fun! (Please don't forget to bring poop bags, as picking up after our dogs is a must.) REMEMBER: Please get there early to sign-in so we may begin on time.

PLEASE NOTE - OWG is hosting Dog Days on both Sat. 25th & Sun. 26th -LI-Dog will only be there there on Sunday 26th and the Pack Walk is only on the 26th as well.
