A meeting to discuss all the different ways to get your app out there. Different devices and different markets. Let us know you are interested by saying you will attend.

Speaking:

  • Intros & News 6.30
  • Nook - speaking at 6.45
  • Mozilla speaking at 7:00
  • Audience discussion on alternative markets
  • RNIB & GTV Presentations

I'm afraid we haven't had a rip raring enthusiasm to speak at the event! Instead we'll be having a discussion with the audience asking who distributes where and how.

+ we are asking everyone who entered something into the RNIB or GTV hacakthons to come along and show us where you have gotten or where you plan to take your hacks. Or just mingle and share in the fact you haven't had time to look at it since the event :).

Shame that the demos did not materialise but the meeting was excellent nevertheless.

Great meetup - nice to hear about others experiences with GTV and also good to learn about the Mozilla os coming soon.

Here's another blog I found (a bit out of date now, but still interesting) where the developer releases all their figures for downloads on different markets (and updates over time) http://www.drmop.com/index.php/2011/08/20/android-apps-the-hard-sell-comparison-of-android-app-stores-included/

Very enjoyable, learnt a lot about some Android markets I had never heard about. Would love to see a complete list.

Looking forward to this tonight, there is a great article about someone looking at the different Android app stores here: http://martingryner.com/on-alternative-android-app-stores/

Hi, before organizing my trip from Cambridge to London for the event I was just wondering if you had confirmation from any of the companies you contacted. Also, do you have a more precise schedule for the event with talk titles and speakers? Thanks!

My company Cloudreach in Farringdon would be happy to offer our meeting rooms for the meetup if you'd like. We can fit in about 20 (to 30 at a squeeze) people into it.
