I wanted to let you know about an exciting event I'm involved with that will bring together people from across the development and creative communities to rethink the way we watch television.
We are looking for Android developers that can show what they can do with Google TV, smartphones and tablets.
The 'Out of the Box' TV Challenge will take place over the weekend of 22-24 March, kicking off at 6pm on the Friday evening and going through until around 7pm on the Sunday evening. The idea is that over the weekend, individuals and small teams will be able to develop and present concepts or prototypes to show what the future television viewing experience could be like. It will be a social event, with great networking opportunities and refreshments provided.
It's all happening at the iBurbia Studios in Chiswick, West London. It's part of a non-profit initiative called TV Triangle, which is an informal networking forum for the television industry that promotes co-operation around creativity and technology innovation.
It is free to participate. The event is supported by Google, Freeview and others and there will be prizes for the winning pitches.

You can also find a lot more information on the TV Triangle web site, where you can register to take part:
Let me know if you have any questions.
I hope to see you there.
