I'm sorry that I can't help because my place is too small.  If you don't get any help, please call the Burbank Animal Shelter because they try their hardest to rescue and adopt animals, NOT destroy them - they have a great reputation.  Sorry, I don't have the number - look on the internet.  I went to an event by them recently and they LLLOVE dogs, so please call them!

Hi Group,
My boyfriend put the plea out yesterday for help with the puppy that was probably hit by a car and has a broken ankle. We were able to get him to a vet and he has a hair-line fracture which doesn't need surgery but he has a cast on his leg and he will require bed rest and pain and anti-inflammatory meds. We cannot offer him this level of care because we both work long hours every day and cannot monitor him like he needs it. If we cannot find someone to take him by sunday we will be forced to take him to a our local shelter. We will of course inform the shelter we are avidly working at finding a rescue, foster home, and eventual permanent home for this beautiful boy. He is a dark brown chocolate lab, pitt terrier mix (although he looks more lab than anything to me). I am attaching pictures. If anyone can help this beautiful boy we would be forever grateful.
