2014: Destiny and Chaos with Brendan Feeley

  • Mar 14, 2014 · 7:30 PM

Planets are symbols of soul consciousness and the outer planets in particular are thought to impact us on the collective or transpersonal realm; they have archetypal qualities that demand a new awareness when they form certain geometrical patterns. Such patterns are to be seen in the chart of the USA in recent years, but particularly in 2013/2014. What we see in our country is the usurpation of power and wealth by those who are not by nature endowed with those attributes and there is an unconscious trepidation that collapse will take place. The obsession with power, status, and wealth for some groups in our society comes from powerlessness, a defense against an unconscious fear of chaos.

The influence of these planets brought natural disasters and tragedies as well as the "self inflicted wound" of the government shutdown in the Fall of 2013. Last year Brendan predicted these events and that the standing of the U.S. as a political power in the world would deteriorate, and indeed it has. The government shutdown and the uproar overseas of the NSA spying on world leaders has damaged America's leadership and reputation in the world and slowed down economic growth.

What can we expect in 2014? The market appears to be performing reasonably well but American families are suffering economically. Will President Obama be able to overcome congressional gridlock? Is the plight of the average American due to corporate greed usurping the will of the people and the political will in Washington, DC? Will the public be able to trust its politicians to lead the country in economic development or are we progressively moving towards economic disaster for middle class America?
