Professionally, there are few things more intimidating than starting a new language. The structure is different, the keywords are different, and the process is different. Overall, this tends to add up to annoyance and frustration from mistakes that can quickly be fixed. This presentation will give you an overview of the environment and get you up to speed on a few common tasks.. so you can spend your time making more creative mistakes. Keith will demonstrate using Flex for the front-end and PHP for the backend web services of the application.
