Toasting our friend Moyra Bligh aka drinkin' to Mamma Hops
Details
I kept meeting Moyra at beer events all over the place. At Black Oak we kept talking and took a shine to each other. Our first talk was a drunken ramble about rural life and bears being in the bushes when picking berries. We became good friends and she became a staple of the Toronto Beer Lovers.
We are sadly shy on details. Sometime within the last few weeks since our last monthly meet Moyra passed away. I'm glad I saw her then and have had a really rough time over the weekend. she inspired a lot of us to use Untapped and track our beer. Many of my check ins were taunts at her "look what I'm having, you know you want some " Or shout outs that she would love something or other.
Moyra was awesome and she was everywhere. I'd like for everyone who was touched amused by or just liked Moyra for being a spitfire and a lovely force of nature to come out and have a few drinks to our friend.

***mild update. Unfortunately still very light on detail. From what is understood Moyra passed away Thursday/Friday. Unofficially it's thought that it's natural cause's. possibly a heart attack or stroke.
****if the list fills up I will see about getting more space.
