Join Lawrence, your top hatted host, for a day of Remembrance at the Memorial at Old City Hall, followed by a visit to the 48th Highlanders museum, Lunch at the Duke of Cornwall and a visit to RMCI Museum.

At 11:30, we will walk to St. Andrews church where the 48th Highlanders regimental museum is.

Visit the museum
Your visit to this military museum in downtown Toronto will immerse you in our traditions and proud history:

From Victorian Toronto in 1891 when the Regiment was formed to the present day.

From the South Africa battlefield at the turn of the century, to Europe through two World Wars to the conflict in Afghanistan and with UN and NATO commitments working in aid of peace in all four corners of the globe.

Through aid to Canadians across the country in times of disaster and need, and
though our extensive collection of artefacts, uniforms, images and records including historic items such as our battlefield cross from Vimy Ridge and a copy of the German surrender in WWII signed by Field Marshal Montgomery.

55 Bloor St W Concourse Level, Toronto, ON M4W 1A5

At 6:30 pmish, we will settle up our tabs and walk around the corner to the Gardiner Ceramic Museum.

We will head up stairs to their exhibition place on the third floor to see
After the Island: Caribbean Canadian Ceramics

Clay receives the gestures of the human body. Hands press, scrape, squeeze, and pour it. Forms are fixed by heat, becoming permanent yet breakable.

https://www.gardinermuseum.on.ca/event/after-the-island-caribbean-canadian-ceramics/

Then we will head to the second floor, to look at what I call Not Your Mother's China.

Earthenwares, represented by ceramics from the Ancestral Abiayala, Italian Renaissance maiolica, and English delftware; and Porcelain, with a focus on European porcelain of the 18th century, including specialized collections of Commedia dell’Arte figures and scent bottles.

Everytime I see this exhibit, I find some very cool stuff.

Sneaky Dee's, 431 College St, Toronto, ON, CA
Let's go back to our old stomping grounds: Another Round Trivia with host Terence at Sneaky Dee's - where the prizes are nachos!

Although the beer is not as good, the nachos are amazing and that is reason enough to attend. The trivia is a good challenge.

lt is first come first serve. so at least some of us will want to get there early to grab a table.

Doors open at 6:00pm.

As far as I know, they are cash-only, so bring your old value coupons.

Trivia starts at 7:00pm

Make sure you get there early in order to grab a table, put a drink in your mouth and get a start on the old picture round.

The motto is Eat. Think. Drink.

Hope to see you there.
