Lecale, Co Down. From Coney Island - next leg

Veteran Dynamos will be aware that we walked from Strangford and Castle Ward and discovered the gorgeous Kinnard wildlife and nature reserve not so long ago.
Now we're going to Coney Island - of Van Morrison fame.
I propose we continue along the Lecale Way on the next leg of the walk. We were prevented last time from going into Ballyhornan and Coney Island by roadworks. Now, we'll try to follow the Ballyhornan Coastal Path, hugging the coastline towards St Patrick’s Well - an hour or so from Ballyhornan.
We'll grab a coffee/scone at Currans pub or something from the menu. Warms and waterproofs as this is a coastal region and can be very windy. Also bring a change of clothes in case like last time we get soaked.
Post up if you need a lift and someone will try to oblige. We'll meetup at Ormeau Road park. It's easy to get to with public transport. Anyone down that area can meet us at the carpark at Ballyhornan at 11.30am. £5 goes to the drivers from passengers. Drivers, please respect this and take the payment as it makes everything equal.
This will be an all day event so I don't expect we'll be back until after 5 or 6pm.
