thanks to everyone who followed up with me on my foreclosures question. Any chance we could do a follow-up hack night to dig in a bit more?

    Thanks for a great event!

Also could someone post the website that John Krauss showed that analyzed the foreclosures in NYC. I searched ACRIS for "referee" and "esquire" and "esq." and did not see a lot of foreclosures. Does anyone know the best way to identify complete d foreclosures. And how do we see the current LIS PENDENS in new york city. I'm searching for example for "60 Van Buren St Brooklyn NY" and it shows an expired LIS PENDENS at the site but I don't see this same data on our government sites. Where do we find our official government data for LIS PENDENS? Thanks, Ralph

Property Shark had a blog post today titled "Find the Real Owner of an NYC Property". I thought it might be an interesting supplement to what we'll be discussing Wednesday night:

Due to a limitation in Meetup's length of comment feature, I had to write up a blog post with all of the ACRIS links. You can find a complete listing of ACRIS labeled datasets here -

Should I bring a few USB keys with these files, and we can pass them around?
