BigData.be project n°1 - Zimmo.be - workshop 2

After the first workshop on the real estate project, we will start working with HBase in the second workshop.

The goal for the evening twofold:

1. convert the existing MySQL data structure of zimmo.be into an HBase table
2. write code to pull distances metrics from the google distance matrix API and append these metrics to corresponding houses

If you live in Ghent while the workshop is hosted in Leuven, and the distance becomes a limiting factor for you to attend the workshops on a weekly basis, note that remote attendance via a web-meeting is organized!
