Pima Cty Fairgrounds – Julian Wash Loop Ride – C+/2/45

We will meet at the east end of the Udall Park parking lot along Tanque Verde Rd. at 7AM for our ride out to the Pima County Fairgrounds and back. We will have an end-of-ride average pace of 15-16 MPH on our 45 mile ride. We will make our way to the Pantano River bike path via Tanque Verde, Pio Decimo, Pima, Pantano and Kenyon. From there, we will head south to Irvington, then over to Houghton, which will take us to Valencia. A short ride west will bring us to Nexus Dr. in Rita Ranch. A left turn on Nexus will take us down to Rita Rd. where we will continue riding south just past I-10. A left turn on Rocket Strav will lead us to Harrison and then down to the Fairgrounds (Dragstrip Entrance) where we will rest before retracing our ride back to Rita Rd. and then onto the Julian Bike path where we will head over to our rest stop at Kolb. We will continue west on the bike path to Palo Verde and cross the Veterans Memorial Bridge. Continuing north and making a right onto 29th St. We continue on 29th to Swan (left turn). We continue on Swan and make a right onto Pima toward Tanque Verde. We turn left and then right into Udall Park.
