Behind the Scenes with Coinbase – “Applied Security Principles for a Bitcoin Startup in the Cloud”, with Robert Witoff, director at Coinbase

The event is hosted by Start-Up Nation Central, a Tel-Aviv based non-profit, inspired by the best-selling book, Start-Up Nation, dedicated to matching the problems of business and government leaders with Israeli innovation.

Abstract:
Running today’s largest consumer Bitcoin startup requires an uncompromising approach to security with the flexibility to maintain a startup's pace. With a high bar for both security and usability, Coinbase has a modern set of cloud-first security principles that their infrastructure, devops and engineering teams build upon. This talk will explore those principles and show how you can apply them to your cloud - from accounts, to amis, containers and the analytics tools that keep your eyes wide open.
