We are pleased to announce the next meeting of the C&C Baltimore Action Team on August 22, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.! For those of you who attended our first meeting in June at the Baltimore Ethical Society, thank you so much for your enthusiasm, participation and ideas. For those of you who weren’t able to attend, each of you also has an important contribution to make, a legislator to contact, and a story to tell.

We are entering our 6-month countdown to the Maryland General Assembly’s legislative session that begins in January. Moving forward, we will be meeting monthly at the Baltimore Ethical Society. I hope you will be able to attend and share your passion with us.

The focus for the August meeting will be planning our first event, a screening of the movie “How To Die In Oregon.” We decided upon this activity at the June meeting. We will discuss selection of a venue, marketing, potential dates, audience building, pre and post-discussion activities, etc. Won’t you help us plan this exciting event?
