Sunday Platform: "Building Community Through Time Banking"

Time banking is a way for people to give and receive services in which their contributions are measured in time, not dollars. One hour helping another earns one time bank hour, which can be spent receiving a hour of service from yet another. Time banking builds supportive networks and strong communities. It differs from volunteering because it encourages reciprocity and recognizes that everyone has skills and their own distinctive worth.
