Introduction to FirePHP 1.0
Details
http://www.christophdorn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/firephp_large.pngSince its inception in 2007 FirePHP (http://www.firephp.org/) has been on a mission to provide a better debugging experience to PHP developers. The original FirePHP Extension + Server Library provided a simple way to log from PHP to the Firebug Console which has proven especially useful for ajax development.
Over the years, a lot has changed in the PHP and wider web-development community and the need for better tooling is becoming more apparent every day. One such aspect is the need for a debugging system that not only works during development but also when applications are deployed in the cloud.

Join Boston PHP and the creator of FirePHP Christoph Dorn (https://www.meetup.com/bostonphp/members/1969727/) as we explore what FirePHP 1.0 (http://sourcemint.com/github.com/firephp/firephp/1) has to offer and get ready for some big changes in the way we develop code.
Christoph has spent the last few years catching up with the advances in the JavaScript community (especially CommonJS) in order to build a new kind of portable debugging system that allows for tight integration between developer tools and applications. FirePHP 1.0 is the PHP interface to an open source distributed debugging and development system that has the potential to change the way you work with PHP.
