Meet Up for children with a brain tumour and their families

Meet Up at the zoo with other families who understand.
When a child has a brain tumour, we know the family needs help too. This trip to the zoo, followed by tea and cake in the cafe, will give you the chance to meet other families who really understand what life’s like at every stage of the journey and beyond. We know how tough things can get, and how isolating it can all feel. This Meet Up will help you see you’re not alone, and you can share tips and offer mutual support. Not to mention that it will also be great fun for the whole family – a real treat you all deserve.

Logistics!

Tickets
Thanks to the generosity of the Smiley Riley Fund, we are thrilled to be able to fund entry for up to two children and two adults per family. We need to order tickets in advance, so please RSVP as accurately and as soon as possible. You’re welcome to bring others too, but they will need to pay for their own tickets.

Timings on the day
We’ll meet at the entrance to the Zoo. You can join us for entry at either 11am or 12.30pm. Everyone has to be there for us to be able to enter, so please make sure you’re on time! If you're coming at 11am, then you can the wander around the zoo either in groups or just with your family, it's up to you and we'll all meet again in the Animal Café for feeding time (light lunch) at 12.30pm, and a chance to chat together. If you're coming along at 12.30pm, then we'll head straight to the Animal Café. Afterwards you are free to wander as you wish around the zoo until closing time at 5.30pm.

Transport
