Meet Up for children with a brain tumour and their families in the North

Details

When a child has a brain tumour, the family needs help too. This fantastic day out at the award winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster will give you the chance to meet other families who really understand what life’s like at every stage of the journey.

We know how tough things can get, and how isolating it can all feel. This Meet Up will help you see that you’re not alone, and will be a great opportunity to share tips and offer mutual support. What's more, it'll be fun for the whole family!

We'll be getting up close and personal with the lemurs, coming face to face with the leopards, and meeting some of the park's latest arrivals, including Pixel the Polar Bear. It will be a real treat that you all deserve.

“It's very rare to sit amongst other families who can relate to the challenges that we are facing with our children. We found it really beneficial”. (Mum, Children’s Meet Up, 2013)

Tickets

We are delighted to be able to fund entry for up to two children and two adults per family. We need to order tickets in advance, so please RSVP as accurately and as soon as possible. We'll need to know the ages of all children beforehand. You’re welcome to bring others too, but they will need to pay for their own tickets on the day.
