BINS 🎭A Play by Seniors Acting Lab Society
Contemporary Calgary, 701 11 Street SW,, Calgary, AB, CAEVENT: We will go to an entertaining play presented by the Seniors Acting Lab Society called BINS. 🎭 It is the engaging and heartwarming story about three 'unlikely' friends who forge the bonds of friendship in one of Calgary's most unusual Thrift stores while they face the challenges of affordability and homelessness together.
While the central character in BINS is a senior retired teacher, forced out of her home in another example of 'reno-viction’, BINS is a story that crosses both the generational as well as the ever-widening socio-economic divides that increasingly define our times and our rapidly changing way of life. The story of Iris's journey from homeless to 'hopeful' is one that is sure to appeal to audiences of all ages, but particularly so to those audiences of a 'certain age' who know the value of home, family and few 'True Blue' friends. 𐦂𖨆𐀪𖠋𐀪𐀪
