Carnation, Coffee, and Cows (40 mi/Brisk/Mod/Steady)

Details
This special Monday ride will head eastward into the Snoqualmie Valley (via Louis Thompson Road up to the Sammamish Plateau) for coffee, some bucolic riding, camaraderie, and farm views. We'll look for evidence of any tipped cows but we can't promise that we will find some. We will climb up and over Union Hill back to the start. This ride will feature 3 paces (and mentorship opportunities) of Brisk (16-18 mph), Moderate (14-16 mph), and Steady (12-14 mph). Because we will be in the rural areas, riders should have spare tubes, pump, and the knowledge on how to use them. We will plan to stop for a coffee/snack in Carnation.
