Friday Night CHASE - Tukwila, (Brisk 20-25 mi)

Come and join me for a Friday Night CHASE (Climbing Hills Around the South End).

Each Friday night we will be exploring local neighborhoods and hills throughout the South end of Seattle, Tukwila, Burien, Normandy Park, Des Moines areas.

We will meet at the North Overflow Lot (Lot G) of the Tukwila Link Light Rail Station (TLRS). The North overflow lot is located across Southcenter Blvd from the main terminal. Please arrive with enough time to ready your gear, sign the ride waiver, and listen to the pre ride briefing.

Printed cue sheets will be available at the start or can be downloaded from the route link above.

This will be a BRISK (http://www.cascade.org/ride-classifications) paced ride (16-18 mph on the flats). The pace may vary slightly week to week depending on route, weather conditions, size of the group, etc. We will regroup at the top of hills and as needed, within reason, to keep the group together.

Lights are absolutely required to participate in this ride and fenders will be appreciated. If the roads are wet and your bike is not equipped with fenders, you will be asked to ride at the rear to prevent spraying others.

There is no cancellation due to rain. Ice/snow will cancel.

Please have a spare tube and/or patch kit and the necessary tools and knowledge to change a flat and handle minor mechanical issues.
