Enumclaw, Black Diamond, Gorge Ride (Steady 12-14)

Details
Join me on a scenic ride through Enumclaw and Black Diamond. We'll start from Enumclaw’s public parking lot on the corner of Stevenson and Cole St. Use "Arts Alive" street address with your car's gps to find the parking lot. The public parking lot is behind Arts Alive. The address is 1429 Cole St., Enumclaw, WA. (http://home.comcast.net/~krezes/parking.jpg) We will ride on quiet country roads that offer great views of Mt. Rainier (if it’s a fog free morning). We will drop down into the valley only to climb back up where we will continue on towards Black Diamond. Our rest stop will be at the famous Black Diamond Bakery. After our break at the bakery we will continue our ride to the Green River Gorge. We will climb then descend and then climb again back to the plateau where we’ll continue back to Enumclaw.
This will be a steady ride which means 12-14 on the flats, slower on the climbs (and in headwinds), faster on the descents (and tailwinds), we will re-group at the top of all steep hills.
Please arrive early enough to sign the ride waiver, hear the route details, and review the SMART riding.
